This hybrid event examines how far rural logistics has progressed on the journey to net zero and what still needs to change. It explores challenges such as long distances, sparse demand, limited infrastructure and funding, and discusses realistic decarbonisation options for rural freight and passenger services, drawing on CILT(UK)’s Route to Zero work and rural communities research.
