Sharon Kindleysides, Chief Executive of The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK (CILT(UK)), has announced her resignation for personal reasons with immediate effect.
Alan Jones, Immediate Past Chair of CILT(UK) said:
“During Sharon’s tenure CILT(UK) has achieved significant milestones and while saddened by Sharon’s departure, we respect her decision and I wish her the utmost success in the future”.
To ensure a smooth transition, Andrew Weatherill, Director of Finance and Company Secretary of CILT(UK), has been appointed Interim Chief Executive, while the search for a permanent replacement is completed.
