DHL Express Ireland and the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has announced a new agreement extending DHL’s role as its official logistics partner.
In a partnership that has been in place since the mid-1990s, the FAI has said the extended deal will see DHL continue to deliver for the Ireland Men’s and Women’s Senior Teams, as well as all international squads.
The announcement made by the FAI on 16 February additionally shared that DHL will also support the FAI’s Football in Schools initiative as part of the Me & My Ball programme.
The Me & My Ball programme is in place to ensure that free footballs are delivered to every primary school nationwide.
FAI Commercial Director Sean Kavanagh said: “It is fantastic to continue our long-standing partnership with DHL who have made a significant contribution to Irish football over the past few decades.
“DHL play a vital role for our international teams ensuring we have our product and kit no matter where we are playing around the world and we are excited to continue that work together.”
