CILT (UK) has unveiled its Top 30 UK Logistics Service Providers for 2026, marking the ninth year of this prestigious annual ranking.
The ranking celebrates organisations that are driving innovation, demonstrating progressive leadership and setting the standard for excellence across the logistics sector.
Returning for its third year, CILT (UK)’s Top 10 UK SME Logistics Service Providers recognises the outstanding contribution of small and medium- sized enterprises to the industry, shining a spotlight on the sector’s emerging and high-performing businesses.
This year’s Top 30 recognises both major global logistics players and local family-owned businesses, reflecting the diverse nature of the UK logistics sector. The data compilation process takes place at the beginning of the new tax year (circa Monday 6 April) to ensure access to the most up-to-date information from company submissions to Companies House via the Fame company database.
Commenting on this year’s list, Helen Hardy, Chief Executive at CILT (UK), said:
“The 2026 Top 30 and Top 10 SME Logistics Service Providers lists highlight the tenacity and agility of businesses navigating a genuinely tough trading environment. Against a backdrop of tightening margins and economic headwinds, these companies have continued to invest in their people, their operations, and their long-term growth. Their resilience is a testament not only to strong leadership, but to the vital role our sector continues to play in keeping the UK’s supply chains moving.”
For the first time ever, InPost has secured the number one spot on CILT (UK)’s Top 30 list. Commenting on this major achievement, Michael Rouse, CEO International at InPost, said:
“"It's a really proud moment for the team, and it caps off the biggest period of growth in InPost's history. That's the real story behind this recognition – sustained, compounding growth in scale and reach across every part of the business, not just one good year."
The CILT (UK) Top 30 Logistics Service Providers list is compiled annually using publicly available data, primarily from Companies House, including company financials, performance, professional accreditation, gender pay gap, modern slavery statements, and environmental and social governance practices. The list focuses on companies with an industry sector related to freight transport by road, warehousing, postal/courier services, and transport support activities. Companies are assessed and scored across 12 internally prescribed criteria and the final rankings are based on cumulative scores.
