CILT (UK) is excited to announce that they will be attending Multimodal 2026, the UK and Ireland’s leading supply chain and logistics event.

Launched in 2008, Multimodal has successfully established a supply chain and logistics community of shippers, retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and exporters, alongside the suppliers who support them.

The three-day show, which this year takes place between Tuesday 30 June and Thursday 2 July at the NEC in Birmingham, is a unique opportunity to make valuable contact with prospects and customers. This event brings every mode of transport, every link in the supply chain, and every level of decision-makers together under one roof. For anyone involved in freight, logistics, supply chain management, technology, or trade, this is an opportunity to learn, connect, and future-proof your business.

Multimodal 2026, NEC Birmingham UK, 30 June - 2 July

Multimodal 2025 was a great success, with over 13,500 attendees! This year, Multimodal 2026 is at the heart of UK Logistics Week, and CILT (UK) will be speaking at the following sessions:

Targeting Infrastructure Investment for Growth: Unlocking the UK’s Supply Chain Potential - Wednesday 1 July, 16:15-17:00

Efficient, well-targeted infrastructure investment is critical to unlocking growth across the UK economy. Yet for the logistics sector, investment decisions are often fragmented across modes, geographies and policy frameworks - risking missed opportunities to enhance capacity, resilience and productivity. As demand for freight continues to grow, the challenge is not simply how much to invest, but where and how to target investment for maximum economic and societal benefit.  This session will bring together industry leaders and policymakers to examine how infrastructure investment - across ports, rail freight, roads, airports and logistics hubs - can be better aligned to support national growth, enable decarbonisation and strengthen supply chain resilience.

Bridging Generations: Developing Skills That Power the Next Decade of Supply Chain - Thursday 2 July, 11:35-12:20

This session brings together emerging leaders and senior professionals to explore the skills that will power the next decade of supply chain operations; from resilience and digital fluency to sustainability and cross-sector collaboration. Together, they will unpack how organisations can bridge generational expectations and invest in development pathways that attract, retain, and empower the next wave of logistics talent.

Attending Multimodal 2026 will make you a part of the conversation shaping the future of freight and supply chain management. Whether you want to discover new solutions, learn from industry experts, build partnerships, or celebrate industry achievements, this event offers a unique opportunity to engage with the people and ideas driving the logistics sector forward.
