We've seen young talent go through the full CILT(UK) training journey and they're now viewed as future leaders within our business, very much sought after internally.

Is This Right For Your Organisation?

Your teams are already doing the work, but not always to the same standard. The Workforce Academy creates a consistent foundation across your operation, giving people the knowledge and practical tools to deliver more reliable, effective performance. Modular, tailored to your sector and built around your shift patterns, you choose the modules that match your priorities. For those you want to take further, completed learning counts toward the full Level 3 Practitioner Certificate.

82% of learners report improved understanding on the subject matter (NHS Supply Chain, BAE Systems).

What Your Team Will Cover

Built on the CILT(UK) curriculum that underpins the Level 3 Practitioner Certificate. Most organisations start by selecting the modules most relevant to their current skills gaps. The team will help you identify the right combination during your discovery call.

  • Unit 1 — Business Operations along the Supply Chain

How global supply chains are structured and managed. Strategic planning, performance measurement, people management, quality and cost management.

  • Unit 2 — Cross-functional Interconnectivity

How the elements of a supply chain interact. Inventory management, data and information flows, value chain thinking, supply chain resilience and digital transformation.

  • Unit 3 — Production Operations Management

Demand forecasting, materials and capacity planning, shop floor management and control, continuous improvement techniques and circular economy principles.

  • Unit 4 — Logistics and Supply Chain Operations

The physical supply chain: inventory handling and storage, warehouse and distribution centre management, and the logistics and transport functions that connect it all.

The Pathway to Level 3 and Professional Recognition

Learners who complete the full Academy programme earn the Level 3 Practitioner Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain and Operations Management: a nationally regulated qualification and the benchmark of professional competence at practitioner level.

My biggest takeaway is understanding how essential my role is within the NHS supply chain. Learning tools like root cause analysis and 5 Whys has helped me see how improving everyday processes supports better patient care.
