The Institute is delighted to share details of the members who have been recognised in the King’s New Year Honours List for 2024.

The King’s New Year Honours list 2024 recognises the outstanding achievements of people across the UK.

Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE)

John Henry Trayner CMILT, Lately Managing Director, Go-Ahead London has been awarded an OBE for services to transport, to skills and to education in London. 

Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)             

Keith Norman Walton CMILT, Founder Severnside Community Rail Partnership, has been awarded an MBE for services to urban rail transport in Bristol.
