CILT(UK) qualifications offer you the opportunity to gain professional recognition of your knowledge and experience to advance you in your career. Whether you are starting out or already have several years experience, we have qualifications for you. Each qualification has been designed and developed by experienced practitioners so the content is relevant and the knowledge you gain is immediately transferable to your workplace. 

Individuals studying CILT(UK) public courses and qualifcations are encouraged to take up CILT membership, entitling them to enjoy all the benefits of membership including access to the Institute's globally-recognised Knowledge Centre.

The following information relates to the qualifications offered through the CILT(UK) Distance Learning Centre (DLC) only. Please refer to the individual courses for the MSc and APICS qualifications.

The CILT(UK) Distance Learning Centre

The CILT(UK) Distance Learning Centre is designed for busy professionals, wanting to boost their career opportunities. Our globally-recognised qualifications develop knowledge and skills across a variety of professional areas. Our Distance learning model is a flexible and cost effective means of demonstrating your professional skills and your commitment to meeting a professional standard.

Learners are supported by specialist Distance Learning Advisors (DLA) throughout their studies. This means you can set your own timetable and balance your work, study and personal commitments.

CILT(UK) qualifications are based on agreed standards for the profession and have been developed by practitioners for practitioners. The learning materials combine theory, concepts and practice backed up by numerous real-world transportation, logistics, operations and supply chain management case studies.

You can enrol on the qualification most relevant to your level of knowledge and experience. We recommend that prospective candidates seek our advice about the right level of qualification to choose. We require a CV when submitting your enrolment form.  

We advise all students to become CILT(UK) members, granting access to the Institute's member benefits including the The Knowledge Centre, offering unlimited online access to Europe’s largest specialist collection of logistics, supply chain and transport information. 

Please note the CILT(UK) Distance Learning Centre operates independently of the CILT(UK) Awarding Organisation which regulates and quality assures the qualifications in line with Ofqual regulations.
