"Throughout my time as a member within the CILT, I feel I have been extremely fortunate to benefit from the power of the institute to undertake numerous visits, networking events and listen/meet many high profile speakers.

Many of the people I have met have become friends as well as colleagues and through membership of the institute has broadened my horizons to learn about rail, aviation, sustainability, bus and transport planning amongst others, embraced my curiosity and given me countless nuggets of information, which I have kept, reflected on and in some cases implemented.

Also when trying to reach out to speakers by using the power of the CILT family, has been an invaluable tool to approach speakers and organisations for future events."
