As CILT looks ahead, my own focus is on what comes next: AI-driven demand forecasting and smarter, more resilient supply chains for the GCC. I have spent more than 20 years moving goods across the Gulf — from warehouse floors and fleet yards to boardroom P&Ls — long before I held the letters after my name. Logistics found me early, and it never let go.
My career has taken me through some of the region's most demanding operations, including the logistics effort behind the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and into FMCG distribution at enterprise scale, where a single missed delivery window ripples across an entire supply chain. The work taught me that logistics is never just about trucks and pallets; it is about reliability, trust, and the invisible promises we keep every day.
