Professionalism sits at the heart of everything I do. From my early years in transport through to my current work in driver development and safety leadership, I've always believed that the logistics sector is built on standards,standards we set, uphold, and pass on to others. Becoming a Chartered Member of CILT(UK) strengthened that commitment. It formalised the values I have carried throughout my career, accountability, integrity, and a responsibility to raise the bar for our industry.

Through my work, particularly across road safety, driver behaviour, compliance and operational excellence, I've seen the impact that true professionalism has on people, organisations, and public safety. Whether it's reinforcing the importance of daily vehicle checks, championing safe speeds, or challenging behaviours that put others at risk, I use my platform to advocate for the standards our sector deserves.

CILT(UK) has been a constant anchor,connecting me with a community that shares the same belief, that professionalism is not optional, it is essential. It's what keeps our industry moving safely, efficiently and responsibly. As we celebrate 100 years of CILT, I'm proud to contribute to a profession where doing things the right way still matters.
