Systems Superuser WMS, Yusen Logistics

Roksana's Story...

Being named a CILT 35 Under 35 winner made me stop and realise how far I had come. It reminded me that your starting point does not define where you can end up. What matters is being willing to learn, take opportunities and keep moving forward. CILT has helped me see logistics as more than just warehouses and deliveries. It has shown me the innovation, technology and talented people that make our industry what it is today.

My CILT moment was being recognised as one of the CILT UK 35 Under 35 winners.

When I started in logistics, I was a Picker Packer. I never imagined that one day I would be recognised by a professional organisation like CILT. At the time, I was simply focused on working hard, learning new skills and helping my team.

Over the years, I progressed into Team Leader and later into a Superuser role, supporting warehouse systems, testing and automation projects. Alongside working full-time, I have been studying for a Business Management degree and completing professional qualifications while raising two children.

As logistics continues to change, with automation and new technologies becoming a bigger part of our everyday work, I believe one thing will always remain important: people.

My message to anyone working in logistics is simple. Working with people, communicating well and treating others with respect is just as important as doing your job well. Skills and technology can be taught, but building good relationships, supporting your team and helping others succeed is what really makes a difference.
