"My CILT story is rooted in a career spent in transport, aviation ground services, mobility systems, safety, quality, and operational excellence. For me, this profession has never been only about moving people or managing journeys. It is about trust, reliability, planning, service, and the standards that allow operations to run safely and consistently.

One of the proudest parts of my journey has been contributing to transport and mobility improvements that made a measurable difference, from enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience to strengthening safety performance and supporting more integrated mobility solutions. These achievements were not built on one person alone, but on disciplined teamwork, evidence-based decisions, and a commitment to doing things properly.

CILT membership and Chartered status have been meaningful because they recognise the professionalism behind a sector that is often unseen when it works well, but deeply felt when it does not. It has reinforced my belief that transport and logistics professionals are not simply operational support functions; they are strategic enablers of business performance, customer confidence, and future-ready mobility.

As CILT celebrates 100 years of its Charter, I am proud to be part of a profession that keeps people, businesses, and communities moving."
