CILT(UK) is proud to be a launch supporter for AIR - a brand new, free-to-attend, event from the award-winning organiser Meetings of Minds.
AIR - Aviation Infrastructure Resilience - is a UK conference and business platform dedicated to airport infrastructure, aviation resilience and responsible growth. The AIR conference brings together airport operators, investors, developers, government, consultants and technology providers to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of aviation infrastructure.
Organised by Meetings of Minds, the team behind Interchange and GRID, AIR provides a forum for expert insight, strategic debate and high-value networking, connecting the organisations and individuals driving investment, innovation and long-term resilience across the UK's aviation sector.
The conference, taking place at Excel London on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 September, is for UK airports, airspace operators and their upper-tier suppliers. The significance and influence of AIR is reflected in the quality of contributors and supporters and how these have been convened in the two-day programme.

This event is especially important right now, as the UK aviation infrastructure sector is on the brink of transformative growth. Passenger numbers across the UK are expected to soar from 300 million in 2025 to 435 million by 2050, driving major infrastructure upgrades including new runways and modernised terminals. With government support fuelling growth, there’s never been a better time to exchange ideas and drive progress. Responsible growth in aviation requires the infrastructure needed to decouple flying and carbon emissions while also ensuring airports are resilient, fit for purpose and offer a great user experience.

The Government is reviewing the Airports National Policy Statement and the AIR conference enables interested parties to get their views across and hear from others in the sector. The last time a similar event took place was 'Runways UK' during the time when the Davies Airports Commission was in play and now ten years later it is time for the issues to be updated to reflect today's situation. CILT(UK) is pleased to support the event."
